Elie Madi Lebanon native, began his career at an early age as a Haute Couture Fashion Designer wherein he presented a series of various collections in Beirut, Lebanon, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, then to Kuwait. A pivotal moment in his career started when he received an invitation to Los Angeles Fashion week to present his first collection. Soon after, he was favored amongst Hollywood and worldwide celebrities such as Gwen Stefani, Jennifer Lopez, Paris Hilton, Carrie Underwood, Toni Braxton, Joanna Kruppa and many more. Madi’s designs have been seen in Vogue, People, and Runway Magazine.
Elie’s inspiration stemmed from his father’s profession in architecture. Growing up, he was always intrigued with sketches, layouts, and prints of architectural plans. Each garment is constructed by hand-executed techniques from start to finish. Each collection is crafted from high quality, expensive, unique fabric and sewn by the most experienced and capable sewers. Each gown is studded with pearls or Swarovski crystals not limiting lavish embroidery, beads, sequins and other embellishments.
We had a chance to catch America's Next Top Model's Season 24 Top 6, Erin Green who walked for Elie Madi. If you did not watch the latest season of ANTM, Tyra lifted the age limit to "18 to infinity". Season 24 was scheduled to only have 14 finalist, but to everyone's surprise (even the producers) Tyra Banks made a special spot for Erin as the 15th finalist. Game changer in ANTM history, Erin Green at 42 years young: a mother and a grandmother, the oldest finalist to compete on America's Next Model. We agree with Erin, that you can be fierce and fabulous at any age! Check out Green's comments about breaking barriers and the cultural shift, not only in the fashion and beauty industry but overall American society.
